General Risk & Compliance Audits
We can conduct General Risk & Compliance Audits (GR&C) at each of your sites. The purpose of the audits is to measure the activities, operations and procedures of your organisation against where current legislation expects you to be. We can then detail our findings in separate written reports where we use the traffic light system of grading risk; namely red, amber and green.
Following the completion of the GR&C Audits, we will create a Management Action Plan. This is done by pulling together all issues raised within the GR&C Audits, prioritising those, and allocating responsibility for any remedial work needed. The Management Action Plan is intended to demonstrate that the organisation is progressing a positive Health & Safety culture from one year to the next.
You and your management team can have access to our advisory service which provides advice from Health & Safety specialists for the simplest of queries to the most complex of prohibition or improvement issues.
Occasionally, where serious health and safety occurrences take place on your premises or affecting your employees, we can provide one of our Health & Safety Consultants on site to support you with various tasks such as completion of accident or incident reports or liaising with enforcing authorities.
Attendance at Health & Safety Committee Meetings
We can provide one of our Health & Safety Consultants to attend one or more of your internal Health & Safety Committee meetings. Some clients will expect the Consultant to act as a Chair of the meeting and to drive the agenda while others will simply see the Consultant as a trusted adviser on hand to provide expert opinion as and when required.
Health & Safety Update Seminars
We run regional Health & Safety update seminars every six months around the country. This is an opportunity for us to let you know about, and explain recent changes in legislation that may affect your organisation and to answer your questions on any matter of particular interest or concern to you. Delegate places will be free to Navigator clients and at this stage we have no plans to limit the number of delegates from any one client.
Health & Safety Prosecution Costs Financial Guarantee
You can be protected by our unique financial guarantee. We have arranged an insurance policy which covers the legal costs of preparation for and representation of our clients in defending a Health & Safety prosecution.
The costs to provide our various Health & Safety services are based on a number of criteria such as headcount, type of activity and number of sites. We can also spread payments over 12, 24 or 36 months dependent on the level of support required by you.
