Following continued growth and significant client acquisition, Navigator is seeking an additional permanent employment law solicitor.
Since our launch in 2011, we have developed a real market presence and in some sectors an immediate and sustained leading edge where our clients now see us as offering unique employment law and health & safety support services.
Our clients include Scotland’s largest independent accountancy practice, Europe’s largest independent school and one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers.
In the summer of 2016, due to expansion, Navigator moved to larger offices at Atholl Crescent in Edinburgh’s West End Village.
We are seeking a talented employment lawyer to fulfil the role of Legal Manager. Reporting directly to our Head of Employment Law, the Legal Manager role will be responsible for the delivery of key tasks:-
- Provision of Employment Law Advice
- Employment Tribunal Management (preparation, case management and representation)
- Management of Client Information
- Management of Client Accounts
- Creation of Technical Content for Articles & Events
Unlike our traditional competitors, we do not employ any trainees; our clients expect to deal only with legally qualified staff at the height of their game.
Our successful candidate is likely to be 1 – 3 years PQE and will understand that this is a full-time role with the potential travel requirements associated with a practice with clients in the South of England to the North of Scotland.
Experience of employment tribunals will be essential and a willingness to develop an understanding of data protection and GDPR legislation would be attractive.
