Our existing Advisory and Updating Service clients currently receive unlimited access to these services as a matter of course. You will be assured of the best attention from our team, all of whom are here to share their knowledge and expansive experience with you.


Employment Law & HR Advice

We are always happy to arrange a private consultation with one of our lawyers to discuss any issue you may have relating to employment law, human resources or people management generally. The consultation can take place at our offices in the centre of Edinburgh or, if you prefer, at your premises. Alternatively, we are happy to speak with you over the telephone.


Monthly Electronic Newsletter

Our newsletter is a monthly update focusing on changing employment law and HR best practice. It will also highlight unusual or noteworthy decisions at employment tribunal as well as articles from the press, and media generally regarding people issues. It will also alert you to our upcoming events such as Update Seminars and Client Focus Forums. Additionally, we will introduce regular case studies based on our actual experience which we believe will be of value to our wider client group. Our communications will always be practical and in plain English.


Employment Law Update Seminars

Every three months, we write and deliver employment law updates at various venues around the country. While we would normally make a charge to non-clients for attendance at our events, we may waive any fees allowing you to gain direct access to our team of lawyers and HR practitioners.


Client Focus Forums

We listen to our clients and we like them to tell us what it is they want, and how our advice should be delivered. To this end, we arrange regular group sessions with our clients to engage with them and to further understand their needs and requirements. The topics will tend to be chosen by our clients. We encourage a less formal feel to these events, and typically we will round off with lunch or dinner in an attractive venue. As these tend to be client led and very well supported, we only have a small number of places available for prospective clients, however, we are keen to include potential clients particularly where the topics to be covered are of specific relevance to them.
