Navigator Vacancies

Following continued growth and significant client acquisition, Navigator is seeking two additional permanent employment law solicitors.

Since our launch in 2011, we have developed a real market presence and in some sectors an immediate and sustained leading edge where our clients now see us as offering unique employment law, HR, health & safety and data protection support services.

Our clients include one of the UK’s largest employment agencies, Europe’s largest independent school and one of the UK’s best known food processors. Our smallest client has 5 staff and our largest employs 28,000.

We are seeking two talented employment lawyers to augment our Employment Law team. Reporting directly to our Head of Employment Law, the roles will be responsible for the delivery of key tasks:-

  • Provision of Employment Law Advice
  • Management of Client Relationships
  • Creation of Technical Content for Articles & Events
  • Preparation for and Representation at Employment Tribunal

Unlike our traditional competitors, we do not employ any trainees; our clients expect to deal only with legally qualified staff at the height of their game.

We are looking to fill two distinct roles; one more senior and one aimed at a lawyer earlier in their career. The more senior role is likely to be filled by someone with between 3 and 5 years PQE and with employment tribunal experience. The junior role would be attractive to someone from NQ to 3 years PQE and does not require employment tribunal experience.

While the roles would ideally be full time, we would be delighted to consider applications from candidates who would prefer alternative working patterns.

You can find a more detailed job description for each role below:

Legal Manager (3 – 5 years PQE)

Legal Manager (NQ – 3 years PQE)

If you would like to apply for either post, please forward your CV, current salary details and salary expectations to by midday on Monday the 18th of January 2021.

“Navigator has been providing Johnston Carmichael with employment law advice for the last five years. This has ranged from auditing and advising us on the full range of our HR policies and procedures to providing us with case specific advice. Their advice is professional, relevant and timely and tailored to our specific needs. Our business is fast paced and the HR team is expected to deliver results effectively within tight deadlines. Navigator is critical in helping deliver our HR service within the timescales required. While the full range of Navigator’s services support our business and the HR team, of particular support is the tailored, case specific advice which Navigator provides us with in some more challenging cases. While focused on providing a professional service, Navigator also maintains a personal approach by ensuring that face-to-face contact is available should we need it. Customer service and client satisfaction are key to the services that Navigator provides us with.”
